More Touka: ghoulscoutcos Brings Tokyo Ghoul's Kagune to Life
ghoulscoutcos as Touka Kirishima from Tokyo Ghoul — purple bob, red kagune wing, and full ghoul energy captured beautifully by @eyeofkedarphotography.

Touka Kirishima has two modes: quietly devastating and catastrophically devastating. @ghoulscoutcos captures the first one perfectly here — the sharp purple bob, the black high-collar jacket, the finger raised to the lips in that signature Touka gesture that reads as either thoughtful or dangerous depending on what mood she's in. Then there's the kagune: that sweeping red wing arching up behind her, hard-edged and blood-bright, the one detail that makes this unmistakably Tokyo Ghoul.

The kagune prop is the centerpiece of this build and it's exceptional — the shape, scale, and color are all accurate to how Touka's ukaku-type kagune looks in the series, with enough texture and depth to photograph as something genuinely threatening rather than decorative. Getting a wing prop this size to read properly in a frame without overwhelming the subject is a real technical challenge, and the composition here handles it beautifully.

Credit for that goes largely to @eyeofkedarphotography, who shot this at the Hair of the Dragon cosplay photo con. The dark, minimal framing keeps everything focused on Touka's silhouette and expression — exactly the right call for a character who communicates more through body language than words. The "EOK" watermark in the corner is a quiet stamp of quality on work that doesn't need a signature to announce itself.

Follow @ghoulscoutcos for more and @eyeofkedarphotography for the photography. More Touka, always.
