Dandadan Chapter 183: Fresh Enemies Set Sights on the School

Dandadan is back with the new chapter after a month-long wait and it immediately threw us into action. Chapter 183, titled 'So It's You', sees Ken, Kinta, and Aira reaching their school to save Class Rep Rin, who finds herself in a dangerous situation. It also presented us with a new yokai that looks insane.

The Dynamic Trio Is On a Mission

 In the previous chapter of Dandadan, we saw our favorite occult group being separated into teams: Momo, Jiji, and Seiko departed to help the younger Ayase with her 'fairy look', while Ken, Kinta, and Aira stayed behind to help Rin. Chapter 183 immediately continues where we see the latter trio trying to reach their high school in time to save Rin and Kuoki - the latter 'acted' as the bait for the mysterious enemy that has been harassing them for days.

The situation is more than serious after Kinta says that he lost Kuoki's trail and that Rin is probably in danger. Aira takes charge of the situation and uses her powers to transform, while can can't, due to him losing Turbo Granny's powers.

They reach the school, but they are immediately hit by a surprise attack that separates them, instantly being faced with different enemies that are really dangerous.

The Group Gets Separated and Aira Gets the Shock of Her Life

Kinta's airbags save him and Ken's life since the attack was so strong that it threw them through the wall and outside to the school playground. Ken and Kinta soon realize that they are facing a familiar face in Bully-san (the boy who bullied Ken once) who is possessed by an evil yokai. Aira stayed in her Acrobatic Silky form inside of the school but was trapped in the gym where she encountered countless bodies without heads! 

Aira gets the shock of her life when the headless creatures use their floating heads as ammunition to attack Aira, she needs to use her incredible movement to dodge. What's even creepier is the fact that those creatures are probably possessed by students who found themselves in the gym at the wrong moment. After realizing that she needs to defeat the power holder, Aira realizes that Kuoki and Rin are still missing.
However, she gets the shock of her life when she realizes that Rin's head is floating among the rest of the students.

Conclusion: Rin Will Survive

Finally, Dandadan is back with a new chapter after a month-long break and it brought us the usual cool action moments and terrifying occult creatures that Yukinobu Tatsu draws so well in his manga series. Ken will have to face off against his Bully, without Turbo Granny powers and that fact alone makes him quite vulnerable and at a disadvantage. Aira showcased her leadership qualities again and shockingly, Rin's head floated around the school gym, which is far from ideal. First of all, Rin will definitely survive the whole ordeal and most importantly, there is a possibility that Kuoki could help the team with her powers - her bond with pygmies could be an important factor in this epic battle.

In the next chapter, Tatsu could lead us to Momo, Seiko, and the rest of the group, and their progression in finally helping Momo with her situation, so she can return to normal. Nevertheless, Tatsu once again made us question everything which is why we cannot wait for the new chapters of Dandadan to be released.
