The older Ayase is known as a very skillful spirit medium, but it feels like Momo is the one who could pass her mother figure. Of course, to use her spiritual power, Momo needs to tap into her ki, which activates her abilities. Momo becomes a 'sensor type' with which she detects the auras of living and non-living creatures around her.

Her power manifests as two large hands that are expendable and can latch onto anything—material or non-material. She uses that power to manipulate auras, or rather, stifle them, like we saw it in the very beginning of Dandadan and the most recent chapter of the manga series.
