Ranking Most Powerful Characters in Kagurabachi
Share
During the Kagurabachi series, we witnessed incredible and bloody fights, mostly between Chihiro and Hishaku members, with some of them being the so-called Sword Bearers, people capable of wielding one of the enchanted swords. However, this ranking won't contain only the Sword Bearers but also some other characters who showcase their powers through other skills.
Tafuku Mihara: A powerful Kamunaba sorcerer
Tafuku Mihara is a member of the Kamunabi, the government organization with the mission to keep peace in Japan. He was tasked by Hiyuki to confront Chihiro; during their fight he managed to activate his dimensional sorcery ability without Chihiro noticing. Moreover, he had no problem defending himself from dozens of armed guards, where his skill was clearly represented.
Azami: Skillful Sorcerer
Azami is another member of Kamunabi, and he is one of the most versatile members of his group. His prowess lies in both sorcery and swordsmanship. Moreover, Azami has accomplished a first stage in spirit energy, which helps him enhance his own body, giving it superhuman powers. Besides sorcery, Azami is very skillful in close-quarters combat, where he uses his strength but also weapons like swords. Even Sojo compared Azami to one of the strongest warriors he encountered in his life.
Mr. Shiba: A Former Member of Kamunabi With Incredible Prowess
Shiba is Chihiro's biggest supporter and right-hand man, so it's no surprise he is a powerful warrior. A veteran of the Seitei War and a former member of Kamunabi, Shiba is a versatile fighter who uses his sorcery and superhuman strength, making him an incredible threat to his enemies. As Azami, Shiba can use his spirit energy for superhuman strength, but if it's combined with his incredible teleportation prowess, Shiba is an extremely tough opponent— even Sojo expressed a will to fight alongside him.
Genichi Sojo: The Bearer of Kuregumo
The Kagurabachi fanbase still debates the fight between Chihiro and Sojo, which was incredibly bloody and close. However, Chihiro won in the end, but that doesn't take away from Sojo's incredible power. The former wielder of Kuregumo, Sojo's swordsmanship prowess is incredible, and it only took him a week to master enchanted sword abilities. Combining that with his enchanted strength and speed, Sojo is one of the hardest opponents Chihiro ever encountered.
Chihiro Rokuhira: The Master Swordsman Who Just Started
Of course, Chihiro is an unfinished article, but from the beginning, he was thought of as a prodigy. With the help of Shiba and others, Chihiro mastered the first stage of spirit energy, giving him the ability to strengthen himself to superhuman levels and incredible mastery in swordsmanship, having formed two life contracts with Enten and Kuregumo. The protagonist of Kagurabachi is incredibly strong, but he is still a work in progress.
Hiyuki Kagari: Strongest Member of Kamunabi
Hiyuki is truly the strongest member of the Kamunabi organization. With her wielding the Flame Bone of the Starving as her weapon, Hiyuki is able to stand opposite the enchanted swords and cause problems for strong opponents. Her sorcery is based on her aforementioned Flame Bone, which makes it equal in power to enchanted swords. Besides her weapon and sorcery, Hiyuki has enchanted strength, agility, and durability, and combined with her being a master combatant, she is one of the strongest characters in the Kagurabachi series.
Samura: New but Powerful Threat
Relatively new in the universe of Kagurabachi, Samura quickly became a fan favorite with his comprehensive story and incredible skill in combat. We had a chance to see Samura in action in the last few chapters of the manga series, and he didn't disappoint. Samura is a Sword Bearer of Tobimune, which is possessed with supernatural powers. According to Chihiro's father, Kunishige, Samura is one of the fastest swordsmen he has ever witnessed. Samura's skill in combat lies in his connection to the blade, making him certainly hard to follow, but also his enchanted strength and agility.

Yura: The Formidable Leader of Hishaku
Finally, we have Yura, the leader of Hishaku and the main antagonist of the series. Yura is an elite sorcerer whose magic relies on summoning trees that are almost impenetrable. Of course, his sorcery includes a fire-based teleportation and stage one of spirit energy for superhuman strength. Moreover, Yura's hand-to-hand combat is unmatchable, as seen in the battle against Chihiro, where the protagonist saw the real power behind his enemy, and combined with enchanted strength and agility, Yura is probably (currently) the strongest character in the Kagurabachi universe. Of course, a lot can change as the series progresses, and hoping our protagonist in Chihiro does the same, we can expect the epic fight in the future.
