Speculating the Final Boss of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex
Dora NaletilićShare
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will drop its 19th chapter in ten days, but that doesn't stop us from speculating on potential endgame villains of Boruto and Kawaki's story. You could argue it's too soon, but since we're getting even closer to that fateful encounter between brothers on the ruins of Konoha, we must take into consideration who is going to be the endgame villain of the Boruto series.
Divine God Trees and Their Incredible Power
One could say that Kishimoto miscalculated, showing that future fateful face-off between Boruto and Kawaki on the ruins of Konoha. It unnecessarily put many things under the microscope from the reader's perspective, especially on Kawaki, whose character had some ups and downs in the series, but also the shallow representations of villains in the series. They're simply not explored enough for the readers to care about them, but with the current threat of shinjus, that could slightly change for the good. They are 'spawns' of captured shinobi, whose chakra is slowly but surely getting drained by the humanoid God Trees, which will result in them dying.
Ones that captured Shinki, Sasuke, and Moegi are currently the main threat, together with the leader, Jura, who is the leader of the newfound group, and their powers and potential are still vastly unknown. Shinjus already showcased incredible power, but for them, only the sky is the limit, and it feels like it will take a lot of Ninja World shinobi to take them down.
Ōtsutsuki Clan Once Again
Despite Isshiki, Momoshiki, and others 'dying,' the ancient alien group is still a huge threat for the whole Ninja World. Momoshiki is still a threat to Boruto since he has a Kama mark on the Uzumaki heir. With that danger looming over Boruto and Kawaki being controlled by Amado, the Ōtsutsuki Clan is far from being erased from the 'threat' list. There is a possibility that Ikemoto and Kishimoto are going to introduce us to a new threat from that particular clan or simply go for something that many fans kept back in their minds.
Amado, or His Daughter, Akebi
We already covered Amado and his influence over Kawaki and happenings in the Kara clan, but what really stuck with his character is consistency, especially in regards to his daughter, Akebi. The story behind Amado and his daughter is very interesting, especially if we remember that Amado joined Jigen and his cause due to the man promising him major help in the breakthrough with Akebi's condition.
Akebi died of an unknown disease, and since then, Amado has tried his hardest to revive his daughter. The Ōtsutsuki Clan proved to have a distinct way of reviving themselves, and that is by looking for the hosts from whom they're going to ascend. Isshiki used Jigen in that regard, but it seems that Amado wants to use Kawaki's cells to do the same for Akebi. Since Kawaki promised he would kill every member of Ōtsutsuki in existence, it seems that Amado is stuck between a hard place and an unmovable object.

Conclusion: Boruto and Kawaki's Conflict Will Have to Wait
Shinjus are a current threat that already opened up and will open many possibilities of this arc ending, but it seems that Amado's role in the whole conspiracy will take the main stage. He needs Kawaki's cells to awaken his daughter, but with a huge risk—Kawaki will murder every single Ōtsutsuki member alive. Technically, Akebi will awaken as an Ōtsutsuki, which only complicates this already complex situation.
What about Boruto and Kawaki? Well, their conflict has already been put aside due to the threat of shinjus, but it is interesting Ikemoto and Kishimoto will lead us to the scene that is a fundamental part of the Boruto series—the ultimate battle between siblings.
