Unraveling the Mystique of Jura: The Strongest Human God Tree in Boruto

Dora Naletilić

The Boruto universe presented us with many formidable enemies, but what we're currently witnessing in the newest manga run, specifically in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, looks to be the most dangerous threat our heroes are dealing with. The Human God Trees emerged as the main enemies of Boruto and the rest of the Ninja World, leading to the epic battle in the future chapters of the manga series. What are the Human God Trees, who is their leader, and how will the shinobi deal with them?

The Upgraded Version of Code's Claw Grimes

In the new Boruto: Two Blue Vortex run, we saw a fated time skip that fundamentally changed the landscape of the Ninja World. The conflict between Boruto and Kawaki escalated to unimaginable heights, which included epic battles against Ōtsutsuki members who threatened the balance of the world but also the lives of the boys themselves. However, the time skip also saw Kawaki using Eida to manipulate the memories of Konohagakure's citizens, making them believe that Boruto killed Naruto and Hinata and that Kawaki is their real son.

As we know, almost all members of the Kara group died except Code, who, after two years, decides to attack Konoha with his Claw Grimes to smoke out Boruto from hiding. Now, Claw Grimes are the usual 'tools' for Code during his combat, which are created when mixing his Claw Mark with Ten-Tails to create humanoid soldiers. Unfortunately for him, the remnants of Kara's Ten-Tails that Isshiki entrusted him with before he was killed, in combination with Claw Grimes, fused together and became sentient. That being became Jura, now the leader of the Human God Tree group, which poses an incredible threat to all of the Ninja World.

Jura as the New and Powerful Leader of the Opposition

Another important aspect of the Human God Trees is the way they are 'born.' In the recent chapters of the manga, we were presented with some of the shinobi being consumed by the Claw Grimes and then becoming part of the small tree that sprouts around the prisoner and slowly drains them of the chakra. With chakra being drained from the encased person, it produces another humanoid that holds or even mimics the same elements of one's personality. For example, Hidari, the humanoid created by Claw Grimes that consumed Sasuke Uchiha, mimics the legendary shinobi and his powers, but it cannot fully use the jutsu due to missing Sharingan, which is why he's trying to get to Sarada.

However, these humanoids that were born from Sasuke, Moegi, and Kinshiki, Gaara's adopted son, aren't as strong as Jura, the 'original' Human God Tree. Since he is directly created from the Ten-Tails, Jura possesses monstrous power, much higher and more formidable than that of Code. Jura is hinted to being easily able to devour Naruto, which will help him in defeating and overpowering the Nine-Tails' Jinchuriki, in this case, Himawari Uzumaki.

Jura also can levitate, easily create the Tailed Beast Ball, perform the Wood Release, and has a monstrous strength that ascends him to heights of his power.

Conclusion: The Human God Trees Potentially the Strongest Enemy Ever

If Jura and his 'brothers' are so powerful, how can one defeat them? Well, besides the obvious answer in Boruto and Kawaki, it seems that Himawari Uzumaki will take center stage as an important piece in defeating those monstrous creatures. Kishimoto used Naruto's daughter to 'revive' the Nine-Tailed Beast, at least in a younger form. However, we cannot overlook Eida and Daemon, siblings with extreme power who are watching the whole conflict from the sidelines and will probably have a say in this epic battle. The newest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will be released on the 20th of December, so look out for the newest chapter of Boruto's story.
