Dora NaletilićShare
After the four-year hiatus, we will finally see the third and final season of the popular shōnen series Fire Force. The series that was long awaited by the fans teased some things in recent trailers and teaser videos, but what truly awaits us in this popular series? More fights and incredible action!
What Happened At the End of Season 2 of Fire Force?
Season two of the series ended with an epic fight and shocking revelations. It concluded with a powerful display of unity and determination from Shinra and his allies. After assassinating Company 4’s Captain Hague, the Evangelist makes it clear that anyone marked by Adolla is a target. Hague’s shocking death deeply affects the Special Fire Force, proving just how ruthless their enemies are.
The final moments of Fire Force Season 2 showcase the major changes both the Fire Force and the White-Clad have undergone since the series began. While the Evangelist’s forces have grown stronger, Shinra and Company 8 have gained valuable allies across the Tokyo Empire, uniting the Special Fire Force under a shared mission. Meanwhile, Yona—sporting a new look—welcomes a group of White-Clad members, including Sho Kusakabe, into the open air as they declare their plan to usher in a new era for humanity. The last time we saw Sho, he was still under Haumea’s mind control, leaving many questions about his current state and his connection to the Evangelist. Meanwhile, Charon watches over Haumea as she performs a mysterious ritual, claiming to have visions of a world under a "new sun" and proclaiming, "The empire will become as it should be." With these intriguing developments, Fire Force sets the stage for an exciting and unpredictable third season.

What Can We Expect in Season 3 of Fire Force?
The latest trailers and teasers are hinting at the threat of a large-scale conflict between the Fire Force and the Evangelist. Although these groups have fought in the past, neither organization has ever used their full power. While Company 8 would be easily defeated alone, they have found some powerful allies throughout Fire Force.
The final battle will likely decide the entire fate of the Fire Force world. By kidnapping Akitaru Obi, the cultists have proven they're done playing around. The antagonists are likely preparing to make their final assault while agitating Shinra Kusakabe in the process. If Company 8 loses this fight, they could lose the entire world. Of course, anyone can actually read 304 chapters of manga series to know what will happen in the anime series, but that's up to people to look into.
Conclusion: Epic Fights Worth Waiting For
Who doesn't love an action-packed anime with cool concepts and epic, battle-ridden episodes? Besides incredible animated fights, there is a strong possibility of good-ole Captain Akitaru Obi joining his team in the final battle against the cultists, which is another recipe for usual 'shōnen feels.' Fire Force, and its final season three, will be split into two 'cours—first airing this April and the second in January of 2026.
