JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind is already one of the most fashion-forward manga arcs ever drawn. Hirohiko Araki's Part 5 characters — set in Italy, draped in haute couture-adjacent looks with butterfly collars, embroidered suits, and ladybug motifs — were designed like runway looks from the jump. So when Tokyo-based label PAMEO POSE announced a Golden Wind collaboration in 2023, it wasn't a stretch. It was an inevitability.
Who Is PAMEO POSE?
PAMEO POSE launched as an online shop in 2013 built around a single concept: fashion as a tool for the individual, free of gender or boundary. Founded and designed by PELI — a Bunka Fashion College graduate who also works as a stylist and DJ — the brand blends romantic femininity with genderless mode energy. It's been featured in Japanese fashion magazines and has cultivated a dedicated following among trendsetters who want pieces that feel both collectible and genuinely wearable. Their collaborations with anime IP are treated as full creative exercises, not licensing cash-ins. They previously released a Stone Ocean collection in October 2022 before turning to Golden Wind.
The Collection, Character by Character
Giorno Giovanna
Giorno's pieces are the most overtly luxurious in the drop. The Giorno Giovanna One Piece (¥41,800 / ~$286) channels his noble presence through a structured heart cut-out at the chest, lace sleeve detailing, and large pearl buttons — designed to be worn with the Giorno Necklace peeking through the heart opening. The necklace itself (¥19,800 / ~$135) connects wing motifs, a ladybug charm, and a Joestar star-shaped birthmark into one piece using cubic zirconia on the heart centerpiece. The Stand Arrow Earrings (¥16,500 / ~$113) are the most clever piece of the lot: the post goes through the earlobe with the heart as the back, making it appear as if the Stand Arrow is literally piercing through the ear. Available in gold and silver, and also as a matching choker (¥14,300 / ~$98).
Bruno Bucciarati
Bucciarati's centerpiece is the MA-1 Jacket (¥41,800 / ~$286) — an oversized, padded nylon bomber with refined Bucciarati-pattern embroidery and a gold slider. The double zipper-chain detail on the right shoulder is a direct nod to Sticky Fingers, his Stand's ability to create zippers on any surface. The matching Bucciarati Choker (¥16,500 / ~$113) depicts an open zipper with a prominent slider — paired with the Zipper Earrings (¥13,200 / ~$90), where the slider is detachable and wearable as a standalone hoop.
Guido Mista
The Mista Knit Top (¥26,400 / ~$181) recreates his signature patterned sweater in a non-itchy, pilling-resistant yarn — built for actual daily wear, not just display. The accompanying Sex Pistols No. 5 Earrings (¥9,350 / ~$64) and Ring (¥8,250 / ~$56) both feature the crybaby bullet sprite, rendered in shimmering gold.
Narancia Ghirga
The Narancia One Piece (¥38,500 / ~$264) is a long denim dress with a belted neckline and elevated waist. The Aerosmith Radar Earrings (¥14,300 / ~$98) pull directly from his Stand's radar display: a red gem at the center of the aircraft, a red clear stone for the monitor screen, available in gold and silver.
Leone Abbacchio
Abbacchio's palette — deep purple and black — translates cleanly into a ribbed long Lace-Up Top (¥24,200 / ~$166) with his iconic "A" embroidered on the chest and purple lace-up detailing. The Abbacchio Necklace (¥13,200 / ~$90) features a detachable "A" charm that converts the piece into a double-layer choker, paired with petite A-Motif Earrings (¥6,050 / ~$41) in gold.
Pannacotta Fugo
Fugo's Knit Top (¥25,300 / ~$173) reconstructs his distinctive cut-out suit pattern in pilling-resistant yarn. The standout accessory is the Purple Haze Ring (¥8,250 / ~$56) — inspired directly by episode 13, "Man in the Mirror and Purple Haze," specifically the moment the virus capsule on the Stand's fist breaks. Available in gold and silver.
Trish Una
Trish's One Piece (¥28,600 / ~$196) is the sportiest silhouette in the collection — jersey fabric, shoulder pads, embroidered Spice Girl motifs on the back, with a pink mesh skirt peeking from the hem. The Trish Choker (¥17,600 / ~$121) uses her Stand symbols painted in epoxy resin by hand, with a delicate jewel chain characteristic of PAMEO POSE's signature aesthetic. Each one is individually hand-finished.
Why This Collab Sits Differently
Most anime fashion collaborations fall into two camps: graphic-print basics that lean on recognition value, or high-fashion pieces so abstracted from the source material that the connection feels thin. PAMEO POSE threads the needle. Every garment is designed with Stand abilities and character iconography embedded into the actual construction — the zipper earring that doubles as a hoop, the Stand Arrow that pierces the earlobe, the Fugo ring that encodes a specific manga moment. You can wear these pieces without knowing a single thing about JoJo and they hold up. But if you do know, they reward you at every layer.
